OPEN DAY SUCCESS Our Open Day held on Saturday 12 July was a great success, attracting a good number of people who enjoyed tours around our glasshouses, compost scheme and packing shed. Our on-site shop did a roaring trade, too. Stella and Janet demonstrated basket weaving encouraging people to join in, Jane made vegetable animals with the children and Sharon and Peter showed people the wealth of wild life in our ponds. People enjoyed some tastings and drank freshly juiced carrots, apples and ginger while they perused the information boards in our packing. Thank you to all those who came.

We are open from 10.00 to 5.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday. ORGANIC COMPOST....ORGANIC COMPOST....ORGANIC COMPOST....ORGANIC COMPOST....ORGANIC 40L bags at £3.50. You can either collect from us or we will deliver with your fruit and vegetables. Our compost is produced on site from green waste collected and delivered to us by Craven District Council. We are now completing the cycle - community green waste turned into compost and either used to grow vegetables that go back to the local community or compost to go on local community vegetable gardens.
